What a fabulous kit! I don’t have a lot of ‘ocean’ or ‘beach’ type photos… but really this kit can be used with any spring/summer/fall page! The bright colors are fantastic, the frames can be used with any photo and even the tags can be converted to frames with just 1 easy step!

I did this 1st page with a couple of beach pictures I found from our trip to Texas in February of 2009. Don’t you just love the cloud & sun? thats a PAPER in this kit… seriously! you can do SO many things with that paper!

and this next layout shows how easily other types of pictures can be used… here are some summer pictures from 2009.

For this 2nd page, I hollowed out the tags & used them as frames and hung them from the fishing wire! The sun was also hollow so I added a round piece of the yellow paper behind it… you can see it peaking out slightly!

Check out the “Ocean Splash” kit by Twin Mom Scraps at Inspiration Lane, it’s an amazing one for sure!

And I just found a FREEBIE Add-On kit for the April Scrapping for Freebies Layout Challenge in the CoolScraps Digital forum … check it out, grab the freebie & whip up a page… it’s such an awesome kit! Here’s what I came up with tonight.

I’m SO excited to have received LOTD at Inspiration Lane for April 2nd!!! I did this page for the April Template Challenge… so much fun! Of course I had to change the template up a little but when I was done I thought it looked a bit plain Jane… guess I was the only one who thought that lol.

For this page, I used a mix of Inspiredbydominic Designs’ “Basic Edition” & “Under the Sea Jamboree” S4H kits. The colors in these kits are bright & cheery, exactly what I was thinking of when I saw the template!

Daybreak Scraps will be hosting monthly blog challenges… though their own blog and the blogs of their creative team. I used the Freebie add-on kit to their kit “Another Season” to do this months challenge. For more details on the Blog Challenge, go to their blog here.

There are so many possibilities with this kit… and the add-on kit as well! For this challenge, I scraplifted this layout in the Daybreak Scraps gallery… love the colors and layout of the page.

I’ve just had the opportunity to work with another great kit by Daybreak Scraps “Sew ‘n Sew“. When I opened the kit… not only did I see sewing elements and papers, I saw rich earthy tones… perfect for the nature theme I had in mind.

The papers, frames and elements go perfectly with our cute ‘Little Miss Chipmunk’ who lives next door.

Birthday week at Oscraps has sadly come to a close. While I didn’t get my computer & scrap time in (my parents are visiting) I did find some time to join a couple of the chats, use the coupons I won and take advantage of some fabulous sales.

Last night I got a some time to scrap… I’m so excited to say And I used 3 of the new kids I got during birthday week!!!

Here are the fabulous kits I used. Mainly this first one, a collab between Taylormade and Emily Powers: A Beautiful Mess which can be found at the O here.

The collab kit was so awesome to work with. There are so many elements that can be used as masks, overlays, accents, subtle additions… fantastic! And the colors work with any photos, they’re so versatile! Here is the page I made with these 3 kits:

A friend suggested I trying out a kit by Daybreak Scraps “Another Season”. As I was working with (doing a challenge at Ginger Scraps) I realized how fantastic this kit is. It was so easy to work with… the papers and elements flowing onto the page!
