I’m a little late to post today, I’ve been away sick for a while. but better late than never they say right?

Scrapgirls is joining the National Digital Scrapbooking Day fun with a sale, all day of chats and a freebie from ME!

We’re going to help you get started on your holiday cards early this year! Join Andrea (LaughingSun) and April (April Showers) in the chat room where we’ll give you some pointers on using a special 4×6 card template created just for this chat.

The challenges was to pick 1 monochromatic color to scrap with and to scrap EITHER about ourselves or swap photos. We chose the color green and to swap photos. Here are our pages:

I spontaneously joined the Polka Dot Plum speed scrap today. It was totally a blast! I had a really great time chatting and getting to know the ladies some more. But you know what? for once I couldn’t choose a kit! then Aly suggested I try out Polka Dot Plum Designs’ Sweet Little Claire so I did. What an amazing kit! It had everything I needed and MORE. I’ll be using this kit again for sure!

here is just one of the many month long events!

I’m SOOO excited… I just found out that I made it on the Site CT at Scrappity-Doo-Dah! To get their team, they had a contest… there were 3 rounds. I replied to the contest announcement post and then decided that I would do my best. If I made it hurray for me, but if I didn’t, that was ok… what was meant to be would happen!

So, for each, they provided a minikit & had some ‘rules’ we had to follow. the 1st round, we had to make 2 pages… here are my 2:

and much to my surprise, I MADE IT to the 2nd round!!

So here is my round 2 page, it’s one of my faves Thank you to my friend Jenn who let me use a pic of her and her daughter!

and much to surprise AGAIN… I made it to the 3rd round!!!!

Here are the 2 pages I did for the last round… man did I sweat over the 2nd one lol.

and to my amazement, I just found out that I made it!!!
